This drought-tolerant panorama design within the Los Angeles area now consists of benches, a fireplace pit, containers set on decomposed granite gravel, and concrete stepping stones. Fer Studio, along with Place Landscape Design and Architecture, designed a plan for the enlarged property’s pure upslope.
The entrance to the home is accentuated by masses of annual flowers that body the bluestone steps. On the lake aspect of the home a secluded, personal patio offers refuge from the more publicly seen yard. This project earned Windsor Companies a Grand Honor award and Judge’s Choice by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association.
The enlarged entryway/driveway consists of concrete pavers and permeable Grasscrete, which permits grass to develop in voids or spaces in the concrete decoratively.
